An Eighth Grade Graduation Poem
by Karrlin Bain ~ May 2011

She has a sweet heart and is one too
She is just good through and through
If I had not met Kassandra
I don’t know what I’d do
I’m friends with her family
And her past student teacher too

When in the Lineville Light House
Kassandra loved to read
We could discuss the books we shared
And future books we’d need

She was always kind and warm
And quick to say hello
At the end of sixth grade year
We were were so sad to go

We have enjoyed such outings
Her family and ours
The pumpkin patch, the ice rink
In school, at parks, for hours

Good luck now leaving eighth grade
Kassandra walk brave and tall
Make excellent thought out decisions
So you can be proud of them all

You have such spirit, poise and grace
You are so hopeful and true
Let none of that any time erase
Kassandra always just stay you!
